The controller of the personal data is Eduardo José Escrig Zomeño, tax ID (C.I.F.) 48581727T, Plaza de la Torrentina 7-8, 46900, Torrent (Spain), who is also the lawful owner of the Website and of all the subdomains and directories it includes (together, the “Website”).

You can contact Eduardo José Escrig Zomeño about anything related to this privacy policy at the email address info@teoriamusical.com.es.

2. Purpose of the processing of personal data

2.1. Categories of data collected

The personal data collected is identification data. In no case does it fall under the special categories of data, nor is it data relating to criminal convictions or offenses.

2.2. For what purpose will we process your personal data?

At Eduardo José Escrig Zomeño we process the personal data collected for the following purposes:

  1. If you hire the services of Eduardo José Escrig Zomeño: to maintain the contractual relationship, and to manage, administer, report on, provide and improve the service.
  2. To send information requested by the data subject.
  3. To publish on the games’ world leaderboard the nickname and score you decide to publish (see section 2.4), and to interact with the features of the Website.
  4. To manage registration for events organized by Eduardo José Escrig Zomeño.
  5. Automated processing consisting of user segmentation for commercial purposes, without this processing involving decisions with legal effects or that significantly affect the user in a similar way.

2.3. How long is the personal data kept?

The personal data provided is kept for as long as there is a mutual interest in maintaining the purpose of the processing, and for the period during which liabilities could arise from the services provided to the data subject: 6 years for accounting books, invoices, etc., under Article 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code; 5 years to bring personal actions with no special time limit (Article 1,964 of the Spanish Civil Code); 4 years under Article 66 et seq. of the Spanish General Tax Law (taxes, etc.).

If you have sent us your résumé, that data is kept until the selection process in question ends, or for a maximum of one year.

When it is no longer needed for those purposes, it will be deleted with appropriate security measures to guarantee the pseudonymization of the data or its complete destruction.

2.4. World leaderboard of the games

Some games let you publish a score on a world leaderboard. You do not need to register, and it is always voluntary: a score is published only if you press “Publish on the world leaderboard”. For this, only the following is stored:

  • The nickname you type (please do not use your full name), the musician you chose and the score, which are shown publicly on the leaderboard.
  • A random identifier that your browser generates so that your scores always go to the same row. It contains no personal data and is not shown.
  • To prevent abuse, an encrypted fingerprint of the IP address that works as a counter of submissions and deletes itself after 60 seconds. The IP address itself is not stored.

The weekly leaderboard is deleted after 15 days; the all-time leaderboard is kept for as long as the game exists. The data is hosted on Supabase (Supabase, Inc.), on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt), and Supabase acts as a data processor. If you want your nickname removed, write to us at info@teoriamusical.com.es stating the game, the level and the nickname.

The legal basis is your consent: publishing is voluntary and happens only when you press the button. You can withdraw it at any time by asking for your nickname to be deleted at the address above.

If you are under 14, ask your parent or guardian for permission before publishing on the world leaderboard, and always use a nickname that does not reveal who you are.

3. Legal basis

Your data is processed on the legal basis given by your request for information and/or the hiring of the products and/or services of Eduardo José Escrig Zomeño, whose terms and conditions will in any case be made available to you before any hiring.

If you do not provide your data, or provide it incorrectly or incompletely, we will not be able to deal with your request, and it will be impossible to give you the information requested or to carry out the hiring of the services.

The processing of your data is also legitimized by the legal basis of free, specific, unambiguous and informed consent. We make available to you the information in this Privacy Policy, and we provide mechanisms so that, before your data is accessed, you can read that information and, if you agree, accept it through a clear affirmative action, such as ticking a box (checkbox).

Remember that you can withdraw, at any time, the consent you gave for any specific purpose, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before its withdrawal.
